I discovered the applied art world with the school of fine art in France, where
I participate on several workshops like architecture, design or sculpture
during 9 years. I pursuit this personal and complementary formation until 2006,
when I obtain the STI Applied Arts Baccalaureate. Thus, the realization of the
BTS and the DSAA (1st and 2nd degree in Industrial Product) give me the
technical and methodological tools to participate to several competitions like
the Nespresso Design Contest for which I was awarded. I approached the Luxury
universe in a contest organized by the Comité Colbert in 2008. Being the winner
of this competition for the bootmaker John Lobb, I could get in close
collaboration with the craftmen and designers in order to produce my model Travelling. This experience allowed me to position myself on my future course by
applying for the Mas-Luxe ECAL. The realization of workshops with Barber &
Osgerby or Alexander Taylor give me the opportunity to work in team or on
personnal projects, based on exchange like The Volcanic Casing which was
shortlisted for the Prix Emile Hermes. The chance to evolve among students
and designers of various nationalities have allowed me to enrich and share my
vision of design:
simplicity and humor.
